Опыт с глобальной составляющей
Grafschafter Frischei, a successful egg producer from Germany, has been a Moba customer for the past ten years. It all started in 2012 with an inline Omnia FT170 with full detection and twelve automatic lanes that handled the eggs of their 360,000 hens on site. And when the company was ready for the next step, they did not doubt that reinvesting in Moba-equipment was the way to go.
GF Grafschafter Frischei is a barn egg production company that produces eggs in a modern facility by current animal welfare guidelines and the requirements of KAT, VLOG and IFS. The business was founded in 2011 and is made up of 18 farmers from the districts of Lohne, Nordlohne and Wietmarschen, where its headquarters are located. The company combines the areas of pullet rearing, laying hen rearing, packing, administration and sales under one roof. Their eggs are packed in the company's own inline packing station and marketed to the retail trade via egg traders. "We promote the welfare of our animals, which has an impact on the quality and efficiency of our production. We aim to produce absolutely safe food of the best quality. This is achieved by using the latest techniques and procedures and taking into account all specifications."

Operating environments
Part of the company's success is the location of the site. When considering the location of their plant, they determined that there should be no industry in the direct vicinity that could have a negative influence on the activities of Grafschafter Frischei. In the immediate vicinity, there are small- to medium-sized agricultural businesses, (in other words, individual farms), that have no negative influence on the work of Grafschafter Frischei GmbH. Furthermore, there are no coherent or closed settlement structures in the vicinity. Plus, the company premises are close to the A31 and A30 motorways, which is a huge advantage for distribution routes.
The packing center was built at the same time as the rearing and laying hen area in 2012 and is constantly maintained. The environmental conditions are ideal for operating an egg packing station. The workplace design is in accordance with the requirements and needs for the activities (packing) performed by the employees of Grafschafter Frischei GmbH.
Reliable partner
To grade all their eggs, Grafschafter had been relying on Moba's Omnia FT since 2012. However, the company needed an upgrade of its plant to keep up with the increasing demand. Based on their steady relationship with Moba and the great contact with Moba Deutschland through the years, in July 2021 they decided to reinvest in Moba equipment.
By listening to the needs of Grafschafter, Moba came up with a smarter overall machine layout that would significantly reduce costs. This resulted in an investment in the Omnia PX180, a great solution to keep up with the high-level packing stations in Germany. And to improve working conditions and enrich the employees' tasks, Grafschafter also committed to automation by investing in two MR30s. The Omnia egg grader was installed at the end of February 2022 and two months later the MR30s were up and running.
